Let God create in you His masterpiece. He will make you truly different and joyfully weird.
In God's economy, you may even harvest a crop in places where you didn't plant seed. When you're generous, you will be blessed, whether it comes to you materially, spiritually, emotionally, relationally, or some other way. God obviously cares much more about what happens in our hearts than what happens in our bank accounts, more about our attitudes than our credit scores. Giving generously changes you. Whether in good times or bad times, David knew the thing he needed most: to feel God's presence close by, intimately, through worship.
If you want your ministry to have __t_, more important than anything else we__e discussed, you must have __t_. When it has filtered through your heart - the rare combination of passion, integrity, focus, faith, expectation, drive, hunger, and God__ anointing - God tends to infuse your ministry with __t_. He blesses your work. People are changed. Leaders grow. Resources flow. The ministry seems to take on a life of its own.
Training is an active, dynamic process lived out daily in all areas of life- not a rote exercise in memorizing verses and going to church every week.
When did we, as Christ followers, start to think that the church exists for us? When did we forget that we are the church? And that we're here for the world?
When I'm focusing on what's important to God, I live differently. I invest my time differently.
It's critical to God that we think about how we live, how we spend the present time with which we're gifted each day.
If you want to be different, if you want to be better than normal, then you must live differently.
