I have a horrid scar right under my left knee from you. Well, the absence of you. Seems appropriate. But I still miss you. My pillowcase smells like you, so I bury my face in it and breathe it in. Things feel empty. My couch, my living room, my heart. I see pictures of things. Silly things, beautiful things, and I want to share them with you. But alas, I cannot, I do not, I press the red button when you call.

This inability to predict the future is why people find themselves stuck and unable to move forward. They don't want to feel the emotions of failure. They prefer to talk themselves into settling for an "okay" life, rather than the life they really want. However, failure is a matter of perspective! Is it not failure when you don't take a chance on the one thing you need? There is no happiness in regret, staying safe or settling for anything less than what you can have through action.

No. No break. We don__ need a break. I__ not perfect, but I get it. I can__ see you run away from me again. So we stop this. We__e all in, because there is no other option for me. You__e my mate. You__e it for me. You have to trust me.

When we are in love, we are convinced nobody else will do. But as time goes, others do do, and often do do, much much better.
