I once received a letter from an old lady in California who informed me that when the tired reader comes home at night, he wishes to read something that will lift up his heart. And it seems her heart had not been lifted up by anything of mine she had read. I think that if her heart had been in the right place, it would have been lifted up.

There are no happy endings, he knew, because nothing ends; and if there were any being dispensed, a great many worthier people would be in line for them long before Michael and Laura and himself. But the happiness of the unworthy and the happiness of the so-so is as fragile and self-centered and dear as the happiness of the righteous and the worthy; and the happiness of the living is no less short and desperate and forgotten than the joys of the dead.

There were never going to be any happy ending for me. I know that now. But that is all right. That is all right.

One way [to recovery] would be by creating the best possible romance book or happy ending scenario for you ... out od your own experience. Another way would be to look at it as it is: a wake-up call to action to create a more humane world, without discrimination and sexism.

A book for children, like the myths and folktales that tend to slide into it, is really a blueprint for dealing with life. For that reason, it might have a happy ending, because nobody ever solved a problem while believing it was hopeless. It might put the aims and the solution unrealistically high _ in the same way that folktales tend to be about kings and queens _ but this is because it is better to aim for the moon and get halfway there than just to aim for the roof and get halfway upstairs.

We are strengthening by different experiences in life;Sad times, happy moments.Poverty, riches.Failure, success.Troubles, good times.Losing, winning.

You have to choose your path.You have to decide what you wish to do.You are the only person that can determine your destiny.

We savour on great memories of happy times.

Somewhere, somebody is looking for someone exactly like you.

Though there are no stars, no light but the souls in love will always shine so bright even in darkness.

Happy is still Happy, with or without the Ever After.

Be positive, be happy and be thankful.

You can't get mad at a real ending. Some of them are ugly. It's the fake happily ever afters that should piss you off.

Nothing can stop you from being happy except yourself. Focus on positive thoughts.

Happy Endings are an illusion. Real life is filled with brief moments of fleeting happiness, but ultimately every life is a tragedy that ends in death and grief.

I found myself speaking softly as if I were telling an old tale to a young child. And giving it a happy ending, when all know that tales never end, and the happy ending is but a moment to catch one__ breath before the next disaster. But I didn__ want to think about that. I didn__ want to wonder what would happen next.
