The most thankful person is the most fully human.

My creed is this: To make sure that every single ounce of true kindness given to me, will never be forgotten, and not only remain unforgotten, but that those acts of true kindness will multiply and bear fruit just because they were planted in me. To make people__ acts of true kindness towards me multiply like investments. That__ my creed. So that a person who has bestowed a goodness upon me, will never be able to regret that act and will in fact say to herself or himself __ am so glad that I did that for her, it__ one of the best things I__e ever done. A good investment._ And I know for sure that the people who have shown me any amount of true kindness, can say for certain, that it's one of the best things they__e done in life, because I make sure that they can say that about me. Ask anyone who__ been kind to me, and they will tell you. Because this is my creed in life. There is no greater evil, in my opinion, than the evil that infests a person who takes for granted any amount of true kindness given to her/him. To forget a kindness done unto you, is to be just like a donkey. Donkeys might even be better. And so this is the creed that I live by.

Do you know, Mrs. Allan, I'm thankful for friendship. It beautifies life so much." "True friendship is a very helpful thing indeed," said Mrs. Allan, "and we should have a very high ideal of it , and never sully it by any failure in truth and sincerity. I fear the name of friendship is often degraded to a kind of intimacy that had nothing of real friendship in it.

For my success I am immensely grateful to God, my parents, my family, my friends, my teachers and to the books I read.

In a quest of looking at those who are running AHEAD OF US or TRAILING BEHIND US, we tend to overlook those who are running WITH US. In a race of life, some people will always be ahead of us and some will be behind us. Let__ not forget to ACKNOWLEDGE and APPRECIATE those who are supporting and caring for us while we are busy running.

I am thankful and blessed to be in a position where I have learned as much from those that have taught me as I have from those that I continue to teach.

Lord, behold our family here assembled. We thank You for this place in which we dwell, for the love accorded us this day, for the hope with which we expect the morrow; for the health, the work, the food and the bright skies that make our lives delightful; for our friends in all parts of the earth. Give us courage and gaiety and the quiet mind. Spare us to our friends, soften us to our enemies. Bless us, if it may be, in all our innocent endeavors; if it may not, give us strength to endure that which is to come that we may be brave in peril, constant in tribulation, temperate in wrath and in all changes of fortune and down to the gates of death, loyal and loving to one another. We beseech of you this help and mercy for Christ's sake.

An ancient cornerstone of prayer is that our desire to thank God is itself God's gift. Be grateful.

I think that the dying pray at the last not "please," but "thank you," as a guest thanks his host at the door. Falling from airplanes the people are crying thank you, thank you, all the way down the air; and the cold carriages draw up for them on the rocks.

Let us give thanks for our shadowsfor they are there in the first placebecause of the presence of light.
