Every day, my mom and I would watch a different Judy Garland VHS. I love how she tells a story when she sings. It was just about her voice and the words she was singing - no strings attached or silly hair or costumes, just a woman singing her heart out. I feel like that doesn't happen that much anymore.

I always knew that St. Jude was an amazing organization but meeting the kids and seeing how the hospital works first hand was truly beautiful. It doesn't feel like a regular hospital all dreary and sad. It's a colorful, beautiful, comfortable, fun place to live and the energy is wonderful.

I like Aurora, 'Sleeping Beauty,' because she's just sleeping and looking pretty and waiting for boys to come kiss her. Sounds like a good life - lots of naps and cute boys fighting dragons to come kiss you.

I'm so thankful for the Internet because actors and singers and performers now have a way to connect with their fans on a very personal level which I think is quite special.

To be honest, I never really considered myself to be too much of an actress. So, whenever I get the chance to do music, I'm always, like, just in it. It's like, 'Oh my God, I finally get to do this. I'm so happy.'

I can't stress to you enough how much I can relate to teens being cyberbullied. Something that helps me is looking at old videos of me and my friends from middle school, or videos of my family. I love watching funny videos of my favorite people - it really cheers me up.

I don't feel much pressure to fit in. I never have. I've always just wanted to do my thing. I have really good friends and good family, and if I don't fit in somewhere else, I fit in at home.

Sometimes, people can be extraordinarily judgmental and closed-minded to anyone different or special, which is why it's so hard for young people in this day and age to be comfortable enough in their own skin to not listen to the people picking on them.

Love is a really scary thing, and you never know what's going to happen. It's one of the most beautiful things in life, but it's one of the most terrifying. It's worth the fear because you have more knowledge, experience, you learn from people, and you have memories.

I wasn__ raised in a household where it was considered abnormal to be gay. So for me to meet people who use the word 'faggot' as an insult, with a derogatory meaning, I can__ take it. I don__ understand it. It__ so foreign to me. I was raised in a household where being gay was like, the most normal thing. You know, my brother is gay, all of my best friends are gay. When my brother came out of the closet, it wasn__ a big deal for my family. Even my grandpa, who is like, super old-school, was like, Good for you! It__ outrageous to me when I see people hate on someone because of their sexuality. I hate the intolerance. I hate the judgment. I hate it so much. Most of my favorite people in my life are gay. It__ something I__ super passionate about, because whenever I would see my friends get bullied, or my brother get hurt for his sexuality, I would become a raging lunatic. I would literally become a raging lunatic because I just can__ take it. When you see someone you love hurting, for such a superficial, bullshit reason, it__ like, how small and spiritually unenlightened and dumb as fuck can a person be? How much further can your head get up your ass that you__e actually judging someone as a person based on their sexuality before you even have a conversation with them?

We need to encourage each other to do what we want and not let it totally define us. You know? The things that people think define them aren__ valid either. You could see a girl who__ completely covered head-to-toe and who looks like the sweetest little thing in the world, and she could be the most horrendous human being on the planet inside.

Some days I feel more comfortable using sexuality in my work, and then some days I feel like being a little more reserved. I think that__ why I__ in the middle of this whole conversation of, what is she? Is she a good girl or is she a bad girl? I think that I__ both. I don__ need to be either. I don__ need to be a pop princess who is America__ sweetheart or the next rebellious, wild, young thing. I don__ need to pick or choose. I can show skin and swear like a sailor but also be a good role model. I think that I__ a good person. I don__ think cursing makes you a bad person. I don__ think showing skin or kissing boys makes you a bad person. I don__ think that expressing sexuality makes you a bad person at all. I don__ think that__ bad_ I think it__ great!
