We may have to struggle to achieve our goals, but our struggles may yield as much growth as our learning. The strengths we develop in overcoming challenges will be with us in the eternities to come.

I am unpersuaded that relative poverty and hard work are greater adversities than relative affluence and free time.

We have to forego some good things in order to choose others that are better or best because they develop faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and strengthen our families.

Given love and opportunity, every child and adult can recover. All who know this and have the capacity to help others should assist as they can.

Just because something is good is not a sufficient reason for doing it. The number of good things we can do far exceeds the time available to accomplish them. Some things are better than good, and these are the things that should command priority attention in our lives.

...When a choice will make a real difference in our lives__bvious or not__nd when we are living in tune with the Spirit and seeking his guidance, we can be sure we will receive the guidance we need to attain our goal.
