The longer I travel and the more people I meet, the more apparent it becomes that certain people will come and go in your life in order to fill a need. Not as a messiah, not as a savior, but as a light that shines to illuminate the path you are on, to show you what needs to be seen at that point in time. It is entirely up to you to open your eyes and allow yourself to see it. Some will be dim, others will shine bright. A select few will burn like the sun and make you feel a gravity so great that you have no choice but to change the course you are on.You don__ get to pick and choose who it might be and you don__ get to decide how much impact they will have. All you can do is open yourself up to the possibility when it comes, give what you can while it__ there, and be grateful when it leaves. Because life is too short to not burn like the sun. Anything else is a death sentence.
