Against all odds, when the 'no' out-weighs the 'yes' faith become the only bridge to your answer

Magically, hopelessness gives rise to profound hope.

Success is for those that presses on when they see a wall, find ways around a road block and consistently push boundaries and conquer territories against all odds.

Although I'm an atheist, I try not to crap all over people's belief in God. It may be nothing more than a placebo, a fairy tale that gives the hopeless hope, but sometimes a little hope is all people need to get through the day. Imagine a unit of soldiers under heavy enemy fire. They are told by their superiors to hold their position, even in the face of overwhelming fire power. The soldiers are being told that reinforcements are on the way, and that thought alone gives them the hope and courage to continue fighting, even if ultimately the reinforcements never arrive. I think some people simply need to believe that God is sending them reinforcements, to get through another day.

What matters most, is not how my end happens, or if it happens now. What I care about in this instant, is that she knows how much I love her__hat I lived long enough to have her love me back.

Against all odds, a seed rises from darkness and beautifies the universe.

It's never the differences between people that surprise us. It's the things that, against all odds, we have in common.

Life shall surely show you different situations. Yes! the good and the bad situations of life shall come your way. We are definitely bound to meet the ups and downs of life. Sometimes, it may seem that all odds are against you and you may have the real reasons to leave in sorrow but, if all things leave you, never ever leave smile.

Hope is one of our central emotions, but we are often at a loss when asked to define it. Many of us confuse hope with optimism, a prevailing attitude that "things turn out for the best." But hope differs from optimism. Hope does not arise from being told to "Think Positively," or from hearing an overly rosy forecast. Hope, unlike optimism, is rooted in unalloyed reality. Although there is no uniform definition of hope, I found on that seemed to capture what my patients had taught me. Hope is the elevating feeling we experience when we see - in the mind's eye- a path to a better future. Hope acknowledges the significant obstacles and deep pitfalls along that path. True hope has no room for delusion.

Ever notice the word 'rough' in through? There is truth to that, though the way may be rough, we are still able to get through it.

I've learned that the only things we are in control of are the choices we make at any one given moment.

Understanding_ may become __isunderstanding_, if no commitment or no responsibilities are assumed, no specific objectives set, no definite expectations met and common values and interests no longer shared. Mutual understanding may then, against all odds, end up in heartache, confusion and bewilderment. ("Mutual understanding" )
