Sometimes you must agree with someones opinion for the sake of being polite and modest, but within you, you know that you are not foolish and crazy.

It often seems as though the silent, humble servant is secretly wiser and more discerning than the haughty master; yet through dutiful (and sometimes insecure) surrender he continues to serve and carry out petty orders in loyal acquiescence.

Silence isn't always agreement. Sometimes people no longer argue because they no longer care.

Relationships like this are built on honesty and trust. If you don't trust me-trust me to know how I'm affecting you, how far I can go with you, how far I can take you-if you can't be honest with me, then we really can't do this.

A high self-esteem having artist works hard to be understood. A low self-esteem having artist works hard to be agreed with.

When there is alignment and understanding, it is much easier to navigate forward together, moving in and out of agreement.

Just because I understand does not mean I agree.

You must be able to say "I understand," before you can say "I agree," or "I disagree," or "I suspend judgment.
