You've got to be around people who encourage you, advice you and want to see you go even higher and higher than they themselves have attained!

Connect with people who are going where you are going. Don__ hate people. The person you may need later may be likened to the bridge you have destroyed after crossing it. You__l need that bridge when returning.

A good coach can be a caring parent, a wise teacher, an exemplary pastor, a passionate friend or a devoted mentor. Keep in touch with all of them especially at the time they are needed.

Whenever I am in a difficult situation where there seems to be no way out, I think about all the times I have been in such situations and say to myself, "I did it before, so I can do it again.

We do not get to choose how we start out in life. But if you forgive someone for something they did to you, it doesn__ mean you agree with what they did or believe it was right. Forgiving that person means you have chosen not to dwell on the matter anymore; you have moved on with your life.

When you work on something that only has the capacity to make you 5 dollars, it does not matter how much harder you work _ the most you will make is 5 dollars.

I have a lot of respect for tough coaches.

He already knew he could coach. All you had to do was look at each of your players and ask yourself: What story does this guy wish someone would tell him about himself? And then you told the guy that story.

Athletes are born winners, there not born loosers, and the sooner you understand this, the faster you can take on a winning attitude and become sucessful in life.
