He was angry; not as the irritable, from chafing of a trifle; nor was his anger like the fool's, pumped from the wells of nothing, to be dissipated by a reproach or a curse; it was the wrath peculiar to ardent natures rudely awakened by the sudden annihilation of a hope --dream, if you will-- in which the choicest happinesses were thought to be certainly in reach. In such case nothing intermediate will carry off the passion --the quarrel is with Fate.

Disappointment and failure are not signs that God has forsaken you or stopped loving you. The devil wants you to believe God no longer loves you, but it isn__ true. God__ love for us never fails.

If we who have the Holy Spirit living and working within us falter and fail, what hope is there for the rest of the world?

Disappointments are part of life; we can__ always have our own way, and we need to learn to separate what is significant from what is merely annoying. Only in heaven will we be free of all disappointments and failures. A friend of mine says, __h well, a hundred years from now it won__ make any difference!

Don__ let failure or disappointment cut you off from God or make you think the future is hopeless. When God closes one door, He often opens another__f we seek it.

I long to see [Jesus] face to face, to hear His voice and touch Him. In the day I go to be with Him, there will be no unfulfilled longings or disappointments. He will welcome me into His mansion, answer my questions, and teach me the wisdom of the ages.

Learn from your disappointments and failures and with God__ help seek to overcome them. Ask yourself, could I have done anything to prevent this? Were my hopes and dreams unrealistic, or were my motives wrong?Is there a new path God wants me to explore?

Many of the mysteries of God__he heartaches, trials, disappointments, tragedies, and the silence of God in the midst of suffering__ill be revealed in heaven.

Meeting writers is always so disappointing. I got over wanting to meet live writers quite a long time ago. There is this terrific book that has changed your life, and then you meet the author, and he has shifty eyes and funny shoes and he won't talk about anything except the injustice of the United States income tax structure toward people with fluctuating income, or how to breed Black Angus cows, or something.

? Reviews are for readers AND authors. It__ a good way of learning from what people think about the work. Being it good or bad. A book might as well be hurt by a bad, poorly written review. That__ such a pity. Some people don__ know how to express themselves, and maybe that__ why they are just readers and not writers, others read a book like chewing a cupcake. That__ too bad. If that was not your cup of tea, leave it there, untouched. Don__ go bash the author for that. But if you really hate the book, why bother telling others. It__ your problem after all. You can give constructive opinions but don__ blame the author for your different tastes and views. Also authors shouldn__ comment on reviews, it sounds unprofessional, even silly. Some busy writers don__ even have time to read what other people say about their work. If someone enjoyed your book, or not, that is irrelevant. If you will continue or not to write something else it doesn´t add to the plate.. Besides, why bother commenting on a review, just read it and shut up. Being it good or bad. So my opinions about authors commenting on reviews is just my opinions after all!

Over the years, we met every kind of person imaginable. But no one makes worse first impressions than writers.

But I loved those books or at least that first one. And I felt somewhere down deep inside him the person who wrote it must be there. That you couldn't write such beautiful things and have such an ugly heart. But that is the truth. He was a beautiful writer and a terrible person.
