Good Friends

I learned you can't trust the judgment of good friends.

As a matter of self-preservation, a man needs good friends or ardent enemies, for the former instruct him and the latter take him to task.

What I've realized over the years is that I have some pretty good friends.

Next to acquiring good friends, the best acquisition is that of good books.
