I moved from the holy land (Israel) to the land of opportunities (USA)

There does not exist any more a holy mountain or a holy city or holy land which can be marked on a map. The reason is not that God__ holiness in space has suddenly become unworthy of Him or has changed into a heathen ubiquity. The reason is that all prophecy is now fulfilled in Jesus, and God__ holiness in space, like all God__ holiness, is now called and is Jesus of Nazareth.

For a Christian to return to a Jewish territoriality is to deny fundamentally what has transpired in the incarnation. It is to deflect appropriate devotion to the new place where God has appeared in residence, namely, in his Son. This explains why the New Testament applies to the person of Christ religious language formerly devoted to the Holy Land or the Temple. He is the new spatiality, the new locale where God may be met.

Open the window of your mind. Allow the fresh air,new lights and new truths to enter.

Actually__nd this was where I began to feel seriously uncomfortable__ome such divine claim underlay not just 'the occupation' but the whole idea of a separate state for Jews in Palestine. Take away the divine warrant for the Holy Land and where were you, and what were you? Just another land-thief like the Turks or the British, except that in this case you wanted the land without the people. And the original Zionist slogan_'a land without a people for a people without a land'__isclosed its own negation when I saw the densely populated Arab towns dwelling sullenly under Jewish tutelage. You want irony? How about Jews becoming colonizers at just the moment when other Europeans had given up on the idea?

With all my heart, I seek to reach the Holy Land.
