We're all astronauts, really, aren't we; interstellar astronauts, travelling so far into the blackness we can never return.

Nature __ _ has made it impossible for us to have any communication from this earth with the other great bodies of the universe, in our present state; and it is highly possible that he has likewise cut off all communication betwixt the other planets, and betwixt the different systems._ We observe, in all of them, enough to raise our curiosity, but not to satisfy it __ _ It does not appear to be suitable to the wisdom that shines throughout all nature, to suppose that we should see so far, and have our curiosity so much raised __ _ only to be disappointed at the end __ _ This, therefore, naturally leads us to consider our present state as only the dawn or beginning of our existence, and as a state of preparation or probation for farther advancement._

I grew up in an era that was a golden age of the blockbuster, when something we might call a family film could have universal appeal. That's something I want to see again. In terms of the tone of the film, it looks at where we are as a people and has a universality about human experience.

We, of all the beings that we know of, can think. We can eat, write, build, save. We can predict, estimate, and count. We can preserve food for lifetimes, and in times of crisis, we can find ways to ensure our survival. With each passing generation, our sphere of control of our existence is larger. What if the earth is hit by an asteroid or there is no way to stop global warming? We look to colonize other planets. The fate of our species, in a few years, will not be tied to the fate of the earth. Our home planet must be cared for ... but as we go interplanetary and then interstellar, our control on our lives and the evolution of our species grows. As far as we know, we are the only species that has a say in the development of its future.

Such is the great nature of man, it resides the true face beneath a glittering masquerade.

Take a closer look at the word "Change". You never "Changed", instead, you were 'Manipulated' by illusion.

An answer gone unanswered will be answered in a parallel universe. Existence is classified in unrecorded dimensions.
