May we all listen to what's really going on with our friends and loved ones. Listen and stand with them in their pain and their joy.

People don't want to listen to their thoughts, so they fill the world with noise.

Try to forgive by trying to understand how it would feel to be in the other__ shoes. If someone hurts you _ ask them - __hat hurts you so much that you would do this?_ Listen to the answer and try to understand what is valid for them. They may have been fighting for your attention, but no one thinks of themselves as attackers, only defenders! So don__ judge their ways, only set them free by giving them a chance to speak. You may both learn a lot from your kindness and courage in asking for the truth. But even if nothing changes, release it, remember that you both have a right to be who you choose to be. When we make judgements we're inevitably acting on limited knowledge, so ask if you seek to understand, or simply let them be!

An intelligent person is eager to speak, but a wise person is eager to listen.

So if we love someone, we should train in being able to listen. By listening with calm and understanding, we can ease the suffering of another person.

God doesn__ give us pain to make us strong. He gives us strength to look inside ourselves and realize we are not innocent victims. When you learn humility, you are no longer a victim because a humble man is not self-absorbed. He seeks to understand why people are hurting him and takes responsibility for his part in their grief. Humility doesn__ dwell with anger or pride, and neither does God.

It's risky most of the time, but its better to listen to your heart.
