Do not undervalue what you are ultimately worth because you are at a momentary disadvantage.

Have you honestly pondered your individual worth? Consider every lower life form in the world__he animals, plants, fouls and fishes. Consider the land forms and numerous earthly wonders. Consider the countless worlds beyond this planet as well as their stars and galaxies. And then consider yourself. Of all God__ creations, you were formed in His image, resembling the likeness of a God. That__ something to think about.

One of the hardest things was learning_that I was_worth recovery.

When you__e spent your whole life not being good enough, it takes time to let yourself believe that you finally are. Self-worth isn__ a switch that flips inside you. It__ a daily struggle not to sabotage your own success. Not to cave into the voices inside your head that whisper you__e not good enough, or you__l fuck things up, or that someone else could do things better than you.

If another man wanted me, I was valuable. I was esteemed, no matter that it wasn't self-esteem.

If the pursuit of perfection is a way to prove our worth, in the end the pursuit will only prove our imperfections.

Some of us are filled with a unique inner light. Others around us cease to exist because of it. The light opaques them. The outcome is, they will try everything in their power to tear it off, from you. Unless you accept their terms; to give up that uniqueness, forever.__ow, my question for you is: Are you a people pleaser or are you one of us?

I have known friendship love, parental love, romantic love, family love and unrequited love in my life time, but the only love that made a difference was self love. You don't need confirmation from the world or another person that you matter. You simply do matter. When you finally believe that truth and live it then you can do amazing things with your life!

Unrequited love is the only emotion that allows sane people to taste the __ife sentence_ of someone with bipolar disorder. The longer they hang onto a lost cause the more unstable they look to everyone else. They contradict their own belief systems and statements, by circling the drain with two competing emotions__ove and hate.

It's a tiring game resenting the scars and the fearful memories.

Thinking little of yourself is not humility.

Stagnation is self-abdication.

You all have your own distinct personal backgrounds. Of course some of you come from rich families, some from poor families. But circumstances beyond your control like that shouldn__ determine who you are. You must all realize what you__e worth on your own.

As long as you look for someone else to validate who you are by seeking their approval, you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have to be whole and complete in yourself. No one can give you that. You have to know who you are - what others say is irrelevant.

If you didn't make me your world, why should I make you mine?

You want to be loved? Love yourself first and passionately. Forgive yourself readily. Care for every part of you. Only when you love yourself do you have love to give to others.

Often, we tend to wrap ourselves around him so tight that we neglect our mission, our purpose, our calling, sometimes our children and even our God

Who am I, when all I__e ever believed myself to be, is fading before my very eyes?Am I still me, or just a shadow of what I used to be?Was I just an illusion that lived only in my head?Did I paint myself as something more than I really am?And with all these changes in my life_ What will be left of the woman who dreamed her dreams?When all the colors that she wrapped herself with_ are slowly being stripped away_Copyright © Eeva Lancaster
