Gray.The overcast skies had the colour of deadened stones, and seemed closer than usually, as though they were phlegmatically observing my every movement with their apathetic emptily blue-less eyes; each tiny drop of hazy rain drifting around resembled transparent molten steel, the pavement looked like it was about to burst into disconsolate tears, even the air itself was gray, so ultimate and ubiquitous that colour was everywhere around me.Gray...

Empathy nurtures wisdom. Apathy cultivates ignorance.

Addiction brings apathy. Break the apathy, and you break the addiction.

We are not built for mediocrity, but we build it into our lives nonetheless.

Apathy is the door to ignorance. Empathy is the door to wisdom.

When my vision is numbed by apathy and narrowed by mediocrity, I can stand in the presence of great things and fail to see even the smallest of things.

Shame on the misguided, the blinded, the distracted and the divided. Shame. You have allowed deceptive men to corrupt and desensitize your hearts and minds to unethically fuel their greed.

Apathy is unconditional surrender where we are driven into hiding by unrealistic fear, and firmly held there by the misinformed belief that we are helpless to do anything other than hide. Therefore, apathy survives solely on lies and can be completely abated by truth.

Mediocrity is a path cleared by fear, leveled by apathy and paved by comfort.

I might define a __ourney_ as something that life itself calls me to. And I might then define a __rip_ as something I create to avoid a journey by mimicking a journey. And while fear is most certainly part and parcel of both, the latter is emboldened by fear while the former surrenders to it.

If we__e honest, what makes something impossible is not our fear. Rather, it is our indifference.

In the last 10 years, we have seen a rise in selfishness: selfies, self-absorbed people, superficiality, self-degradation, apathy, and self-destruction. So I challenge all of you to take initiative to change this programming. Instead of celebrating the ego, let's flip the script and celebrate the heart. Let's put the ego and celebrity culture to sleep, and awaken the conscience. This is the battle we must all fight together to win back our humanity. To save our future and our children.

You become a house where the wind blows straight through, because no one bothers the crack in the window or lock on the door, and you__e the house where people come and go as they please, because you__e simply too unimpressed to care. You let people in who you really shouldn__ let in, and you let them walk around for a while, use your bed and use your books, and await the day when they simply get bored and leave. You__e still not bothered, though you knew they shouldn__ have been let in in the first place, but still you just sit there, apathetic like a beggar in the desert.

There is no shame in feeling bad about having to kill. The shame comes when you no longer care.
