We should never let another person get under our skin to the point that we feel hate for them

If I could give one message to the bullies, it would be this: You are incredible. You are bound for great things. You have the potential to be anybody you want to be. There are people who believe in you. There are people who love you. Be what we know you can be, even if you don__ believe in yourself right now.

Success follows those who champion a cause greater than themselves.

Kindness solves more problems than diplomacy, wealth, intelligence, clout, force, law, and dominion combined.

Whenever you feel insignificant,remember that you can makea significant differencein the lives of others,particularly the less fortunate.

They learned no compassion from their own anguish. Thus their suffering was wasted.

Enlightenment seems paradoxical but all it needs is compassion

When bad things happen or you don't get your own way, if you can open your heart to compassion instead of shunting it down in anger, you're going to create more light.

Etymologically, "compassion" means to suffer together. "Together," however, is different from "identically." Compassion is not the same as selflessness, and not really the opposite of selfishness. And in order to feel this way, to experience the rush of my own pious reaction, I need victims the way an addict needs drugs.

Sometimes kindness is stepping aside, letting go of our need to be right & just being happy for someone.

Believe not the existence of an emotion nobler than the compassion!

When you see a person acting violently, ask yourself whether he knows how powerful he is. If he knew his power, would he feel the need to assert it?
