Your true power is not in your difference, but in your consistency of being different. The world will always adjust to consistency, yet struggle with change.

Being idolized and being torn down felt oddly similar. They both made me feel alone.Friendship and trust should be earned, and when you're famous, people seem to want to give them to you whether you've earned them or not, and it felt dishonest to me. Fame was not real. It was all a projection__ame made me a blank canvas that people projected their love, lust, troubles, self-worth, and desire upon. Fame and power do not change us, they amplify us.

The self-judging person will always judge others. The rubric we develop for ourselves, the measuring stick we put against our own mind and body, generalizes to every other human being.

The person one loves never really exists, but is a projection focused through the lens of the mind onto whatever screen it fits with least distortion.

A person with a mind is bound to be filled with conceptions. These conceptions prevent him from knowing things directly, so a person with a mind shall never really know.

Life is a series of events and sensations. Everything else is interpretation. Much is lost in translation and added in assumption / projection

Since the beginning of time, people have been trying to change the world so that they can be happy. This hasn__ ever worked, because it approaches the problem backward. What The Work gives us is a way to change the projector__ind__ather than the projected. It__ like when there__ a piece of lint on a projector__ lens. We think there__ a flaw on the screen, and we try to change this person and that person, whomever the flaw appears on next. But it__ futile to try to change the projected images. Once we realize where the lint is, we can clear the lens itself. This is the end of suffering, and the beginning of a little joy in paradise.

Good fortune often occurs when you stop expecting life to present opportunities to you and you start presenting opportunities to life.

Don't spend your life believing a story about yourself that you didn't write that's been fed to you - that simply you've accepted, embedded and added to. Let the story go and there beneath is the real you...and your unique gifts, heart and path that await you.

Depression, which lives below the horizon, is the result of painting and entertaining negative imagery - most of which has not taken place in reality. Get up, move, and appreciate that which is given. What is lacking is usually material and heavily influenced by external forces. Don't play yourself, save yourself.

The person with an itch can't understand why everyone's not scratching.

If you are going to judge others it is wisest to do so individually not collectively and on your own direct experience of them personally. But first - and throughout - examine yourself closely. Blurred vision can often occur due to the lens, perspective and perceptions of the viewer projected onto the object that it sees. Be wary of taking to the judges seat. Above all meet at treat yourself and everyone else mindfully, compassionately with humanity.

Create or arouse such unbridled forces and you built carnal fantasies of enormous complexity. You could lead whole populations around by their desires, by their fantasy projections.

People will react to you as a result of their own mindset, rather than as a reflection of your worth. Most people use others as mirrors for their own darkness. If you have been hurt by such people, perhaps you can use these experiences to become a different kind of person__ne who reflects the light within others instead of using them as mirrors. Maybe your experiences of pain can lead you to being a great leader, someone who lights up the world. Your most painful struggle is ripe with opportunity.

Don't be a reflection of your depression, your dark, or your ugly. Reflect what you want. Your light, your beauty, & your strength. Aspire for greatness - reflect who you are; not which deficits you maintain. Showcase the hidden treasures.

The power of a thing is not based on the power it actually possesses. Rather, it is much more about the power that we permit it to possess.

Fear of death is merely the projection into the future of a fear which dates back to our first moment of life.
