Most people fail in leadership b/c they think when they should be working and work when they should be thinking.

Alexander Graham Bell was desperately trying to invent a hearing aid for his partially deaf wife. He failed at inventing a hearing aid but in the process discovered the principles of the telephone. You wouldn't call someone like that lucky, would you?Good luck is when opportunity meets preparation. Without effort and preparation, lucky coincidences don't happen.

Who told these people with dreams, goals and ambitions they could take time off?

I think most of us are looking for a calling, not a job. Most of us, like the assembly-line worker, have jobs that are too small for our spirit. Jobs are not big enough for people.

Happily, we do the work.

Once you familiarize yourself with your tools, you should forget about them. It will only throw you off-balance. In all these __olling shit into little balls_ types who spend hours of time and reams of paper saying nothing, literary masturbators, they concentrate on the vehicle more than what they want to produce. That impedes the end result and defeats the purpose. You must lose consciousness of the medium or mechanics to do the impossible. Like Nijinsky who explained how he gave the impression of hovering in mid-air _ __ just pause when I get there._ In a child-like way, real magicians innocently do the simplest thing. The objective is all they think about. I just want to make music the way I hear it. The ends justify the means, and the means become inconsequential.

A dream is not meant to be dreamed forever; instead, it's meant for you to work hard and smart enough until success wakes you up from it.

Never quit on your dream, but learn to cut your losses and quit your plan if it is not working.
